I recently learnt that an ex-neighbour died of breast cancer over the CNY period. I was shell shocked, because the disease consumed her when she was still in her prime, barely 40, with 3 young children to care for....I felt deeply affected...worst still, i understand that when she first found out, it was too late, she passed away on her 3 day of chemo...she didn't even have a chance to fight back...My family and her young family had spent good times barbequeing along our corridors, caring for their kids when the couple took time away to spend some time together and watching the children grew from a little crying bundle of thing into well behaved little kids...It was sad to think that the 3 kids (the eldest Sec 1 and youngest pre-school) would be motherless from now...
Anyhow, i realised that life is just to fragile and short....i promise to live better, love better and not sweat the small stuff in life. I wish all my loved ones best of health.
